Date Posted: 04-06-2018
Organization Overview:
Michelson Found Animals (MFA) is a nonprofit supporting pet owners and animal welfare organizations through our mission to Save Pets & Enrich Lives. With two distinct Adopt & Shop locations in Culver City and Lakewood, and programs throughout L.A. All of our pets are rescued from local shelters, which supports our goal to reduce animal euthanasia and allows customers to be part of the mission. Since its inception in 2005, MFA has committed more than $3 million in spay/neuter grants, protected more than 1.5 million pets through the microchip registry, reached more than 300,000 hours of service from volunteers and, most notably, adopted out more than 25,000 animals from Adopt & Shop stores and events to loving forever homes.
